Daniel Prenat, Executive Director

Daniel is one of the co-founders of the Miami Strike Force. Daniel has played and coached the game for over 40 years. He started out playing youth soccer in his native Uruguay. Daniel holds a USSF “A” license, a NSCAA Advance National Diploma and a USYSA Youth National License. He is a member of the FYSA Instructional Staff. Daniel was named the FYSA 2000 coach of the year and the 2002-03, Boys High School Coach of the Year by The Miami Herald.

Luis Carlos Perea, Director of Coaching

Luis Carlos was a member of the Colombian National Team in the 1990 and 1994 World Cup. He has served as a professional player since 1984, and played with Atletico Nacional, Torres Neza, Atletico Junior, Deportes Tolima and Independiente de Medellin. He was a Champion with Atletico Nacional in 1989.
Luis Carlos brings tremendous experience for the development of young players. Luis Carlos main responsibility is the education of soccer to our Academy players. Luis Carlos first year of excellent coaching in the Unites States was awarded by finishing second in the state with his U16 Boys team.

Joe Massi, Goalkeeper Academy Director

Our Goalkeeper Academy Director is Coach Joe Massi. He has more than 25 years of coaching experience, which includes youth, ODP, high school, college and the professional level, and the USSF A License. He was the Goalkeeper Coach for the Miami Freedom and Fort Lauderdale Strikers (APSL), which includes a National Pro Championship. He was also the Goalkeeper Coach for Miami Fusion (MLS). He is presently the Assistant Coach at Florida International University.

John Calderon, Director of Marketing and

Business Development

John Calderon is a marketing, communications and business development professional with over 15 years of experience working with corporations,
associations, chambers of commerce, charities and sports organizations. An avid soccer fan and player, John is also the director of business development for Success in Soccer Magazine and the American Soccer Tennis Organization. He currently advises several sporting goods manufacturers and soccer associations and clubs throughout Canada and the United States. John has a business degree from York University and a Certificate in International Business from Humber College.
